Jury Duty/Subpoenaed Witness Leave. Jury Duty: A leave with pay shall be granted to employees called for jury duty in the manner provided for by law. An employee who receives a jury summons shall submit a copy of the summons to the supervisor. At the conclusion of jury duty, the employee shall submit a leave of absence form specifying the dates and times served by the employee. This shall be attached to the Leave of Absence report. Payment shall be made to the County Superintendent in the amount of the statutory fees that the employee has received for attendance as a juror, excluding the statutory mileage fee. This leave provision shall not apply to voluntary duty on a grand jury.
