Jury Duty/Witness Leave. When an employee is required to serve on a Jury or as a Witness or who is required in any court of law or coroner’s inquest, the employee shall be relieved of their duties for such time as it may require, and shall be paid the difference between the fee as a Juror or Witness, and their earnings for the time lost. It is the employee’s responsibility to come to work at anytime during the week that the employee is not actually required for Jury Duty or to be present in Court except where less than three (3) hours remain in the shift.
