The union must give at least four (4) calendar weeks’ notice in writing to the Employer of the intended leave. At the end of the assignment, the employee shall, upon four (4) weeks’ notice, be returned to the position held immediately prior to the commencement of the leave provided she remains qualified to perform the work of that position, or to a comparable position she is qualified to perform, if available, with no decrease in pay should the original position be eliminated.
