Common use of Labour Flexibility Clause in Contracts

Labour Flexibility. (a) For the purpose of increasing productivity and flexibility, as well as enhancing career opportunities for employees, it is agreed that employees may perform a wider range of duties including work which is incidental or peripheral to their main task or function. (b) As part of the structural efficiency process, and on an ongoing basis, the parties agree that discussions should continue at the enterprise level to provide for more flexible working arrangements, improvements in the quality of working life, enhancement of skills and job satisfaction.
