Last Minute Trips. When last minute trips come in the office with less than twenty-four (24) hour notice from the departure time, the Transportation Supervisor will ask first driver on rotation. That driver has one (1) hour to respond. Then the trip will be open to anyone, the first driver to respond will be awarded trip. This will be a bonus trip and will not reflect on the following weeks postings.
Last Minute Trips. 10 Last minute trips for which the field trip form or driver refusal is received 11 at 3:00 p.m. or later will be offered to drivers in rotational order. Hours 12 earned or refused will be counted toward the rotational order.
Last Minute Trips. If a trip is presented to a driver with less than two (2) days’ notice, and the driver declines it, he/she shall maintain his/her position on the rotation list. If the driver accepts it, it will be counted.

  • Extra Trips A. Field trips (extra trips) shall be provided by rotation on a list composed of regular drivers who volunteer in descending order of classification seniority (defined in Article 39).
