In the event of an unforeseen emergency, operators shall notify the Authority in writing of temporary unavailability on a form provided by the Authority which will lock them in their current rotational slot and will not count against them under the provisions of this paragraph. The rotation will function in such a manner that no full time operator receives a second piece of overtime work from the same rotation until all other full time operators on the rotation have been offered work. The Dispatcher will make every effort not to assign work that rightfully should have been offered to another full- time operator. If the Dispatcher bypassed an operator for the first time in a six (6) month period (Jan 1st through Jun 30th or Jul 1st through Dec 31st), no action would be taken provided the error was not brought to the attention of the Dispatcher in sufficient time for the Dispatcher to make the necessary adjustments.
