Common use of Layoff Application Clause in Contracts

Layoff Application. An employee on layoff shall retain their seniority and right to recall within classification in seniority order for a period of one year after the date of layoff.

Layoff Application. An employee on layoff shall retain their seniority and right to recall within classification group in seniority order for a period of one year after the date of layoff.

Layoff Application. An employee on layoff shall retain their retains seniority and right to recall within an equal or lower classification in seniority order for a period of one year 15 months after the date of layoff, subject to the provisions of Section 8.8 below.
