Layoff Of Employees In Positions That Are Not Designated For Students. (a) Employees who are appointed to a term of appointment of at least twelve (12) weeks, will, after having worked the first two (2) weeks of the term, be entitled to a minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice of layoff, or pay in lieu. Employees who are appointed to a term of less than twelve (12) weeks but more than four (4) weeks will be entitled to one (1) week’s notice of layoff prior to the expiration of their term (or pay in lieu of notice), for other than cause or during probation, after having completed the first two weeks of their term.
