Leave Accrual and Utilization. In view of the Banner requirements for system-wide consistency as to whether leave hours may be taken in the same month accrued, all universities will apply the “accrue, then take” rule, as follows: Leave may be taken commencing the first day of the month following the month in which it is accrued.
