Leave Accruals and Service Credit. Annual leave and sick leave accruals shall continue as if the employee had worked or was in approved paid leave status for eighty (80) hours per pay period for the duration of the agreement. State service credit shall remain at eighty (80) hours per pay period for purposes of longevity compensation, pay step increases, employment preference, holiday pay, and hours until rating.
