Common use of Leave for Court Appearances Clause in Contracts

Leave for Court Appearances. (a) Employees who are required by law to serve as jurors or witnesses in any court will be granted leave of absence without loss of pay for this purpose. The employee concerned will deposit with the University any pay rendered for such service, other than expenses, and will render an accounting of amounts received together with proof of service.
