Leave for Job Interview. When an employee participates in a personnel selection process for a position in with the Employer or for promotion, they shall be granted leave of absence with pay for the period during which the employee’s presence is required for purposes of the selection or promotion process and for such further period as the Employee considers reasonable for the employee to travel to and from the place where their presence is so required. Such leave of absence shall not be considered to be “on the Employer’s business”, for purposes of expenses incurred under Article 31. Such leave of absence shall be requested by the employee of their supervisor as soon as possible after the requirement of their presence is known.
