PRODUCT SUBSTITUTION In the event a specified manufacturer’s Product listed in the Contract becomes unavailable or cannot be supplied by the Contractor for any reason (except as provided for in the Savings/Force Majeure Clause) a Product deemed in writing by the Commissioner to be equal to or better than the specified Product must be substituted by the Contractor at no additional cost or expense to the Authorized User. Unless otherwise specified, any substitution of Product prior to the Commissioner’s written approval may be cause for cancellation of Contract.
Criteria for Selection a. The Sabbatical Selection Committee shall use four (4) criteria for selection of academic employees to receive sabbaticals. These are: the merit of the sabbatical project, the applicant’s current and previous contributions to the College community, the proposal’s relevancy to the College’s Strategic Plan and whether or not the applicant has had a previous sabbatical. In instances where these criteria are equal, seniority shall be the determining factor.
No Removal or Substitution The Resident may not remove, alter or change any property in the Room which is provided on occupancy or at any other time during the Term, including and not limited to; furnishings, fixtures, equipment, television sets, appliances, window screens, floor coverings and any mattress covering. The Resident shall use all such items only for their intended purpose.
Leave for Storms or Hazardous Conditions (a) Time lost by an employee as a result of absence or lateness due to storm conditions or because of the condition of public streets and highways or because an employee finds it necessary to seek permission to leave prior to the end of the regular shift must be:
Substitution of Equipment In the event the Computer is inoperable, ASL has a limited number of spare laptops for use while the Computer is being repaired or replaced. This agreement remains in effect for such a substitute. The Student may NOT opt to keep a broken Computer or to avoid using the Computer due to loss or damage.
Replacement for Severed Provision In the event of suspension or invalidation of any Article or Section of this Agreement, the parties agree to meet and negotiate within thirty (30) days after such determination for the purpose of arriving at a mutually satisfactory replacement for such Article or Section.
Leave for Storm Or Hazardous Conditions It is the responsibility of the Nurse to make every reasonable effort to arrive at their work location as scheduled, however, during storm conditions, when such arrival is impossible, or delayed, all absent time will be deemed to be leave, and the Nurse has the option to:
Long-Term Substitutes Long-term substitutes are defined as teachers hired to fill the temporary vacancy of a teacher on leave in the same assignment for more than sixty (60) days. The employment of long-term substitutes shall automatically expire at the end of the period of substitution or upon return to duty of the teacher from an approved leave of absence without any action by the Board or further notice to the teacher.
Substitutes 10.5 The responsibility for the selection, orientation and employment of substitutes rests at the local school level. The principal, or his/her designee, shall be responsible for obtaining qualified substitutes. Teachers shall not be required to obtain their own substitutes.
Fee-for-Service In providing its services and operations, Contractor will maintain compliance with requirements of the AOD Policy and Procedure Manual including additions and revisions, incorporated by reference herein. The maximum length of stay is set by the specific funding source and an extension beyond a 90 day period may be granted only by written approval from the Alcohol and Other Drug Services (AOD) Administrator, pursuant to a Contractor’s written request outlining and justifying the client’s clinical need. Reimbursement will be approved only for clients who referred through the formal referral process outlined in the AOD Policy and Procedure Manual.
