Leave of Absence for Employees on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Nurses' Association. An employee who is elected to the Board of Directors of the Ontario Nurses' Association other than to the office of President shall be granted such leave of absence as she or he may require to fulfil the duties of the position without loss of seniority and benefits. Leave of absence for board members of the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above. Reasonable notice – sufficient to adequately allow the Home to minimize disruption of its services shall be given to the Home for such leave of absence.

Leave of Absence for Employees on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Nurses' Association. An employee who is elected to the Board of Directors of the Ontario Nurses' Association other than to the office of President shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of one-hundred (100) days annually. The Employer will consider requests for additional days off beyond one-hundred (100) days, subject to the operational requirements of the Home. Such requests will not be unreasonably denied. Leave of absence for board members of the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.
