Seniority and Benefits. Seniority and benefits do not accrue while on layoff status. Upon recall within twelve (12) months of layoff, employees will have previously accrued seniority and benefits restored and will again commence accruing seniority and benefits (per applicable timelines).
Seniority and Benefits. Each teacher shall:
a. Receive three-fourths (3/4) of a year seniority credit for each year of job sharing.
b. Be entitled to fully-funded (less employee contribution) single coverage and the option of paying for the family portion.
c. Receive one-half (1/2) of the term life amount.
d. Be guaranteed one full year of job sharing.
e. In the event of a life event affecting a teacher engaged in job sharing (death of spouse, divorce, etc.), the affected teacher may return to the next full-time position for which the teacher is certified/licensed. A temporary teacher may be hired to complete the school year for the teacher who has resumed full-time service.
f. For purposes of seniority, each teacher shall advance three-fourths (3/4) of a year or prorated based on the following current practice of the district for each year of service during which a job is shared provided the bargaining unit member works or is paid for 120 part-time days or more in the school year or works the equivalent of one-half or more of a school year: 120+ full days = year credit 90-119 full days = .75 year credit 60-89 full days = .50 year credit 30-59 full days = .25 year credit less than 30 full days = no credit
g. Salary schedule advancement is evaluated twice a year and is calculated on a prorated basis on time worked.
Seniority and Benefits. An employee, while on sick leave, shall be entitled to accumulate seniority and all benefits under this Collective Agreement.
Seniority and Benefits. During the period of layoff, a nurse shall accrue no seniority nor be eligible for any fringe benefits in except in accordance with applicable law. When the layoff is a reduction in the number of hours worked in a workday, workweek or pay period, the nurse shall continue to receive fringe benefits. A fringe benefit that is based on wages paid, such as retirement, shall be reduced proportionately.
Seniority and Benefits. Participants in a job share arrangement shall accrue seniority for all purposes, and be eligible for benefits in the same manner as a regular part-time employee would pursuant to the Collective Agreement.

If an unpaid leave of absence or an accumulation of unpaid leaves of absence exceeds twenty (20) working days in any year, the employee shall not accumulate benefits from the twenty-first (21st) day of the unpaid leave to the last day of the unpaid leave but shall accumulate benefits and receive credit for previously earned benefits upon expiration of the unpaid leave. Upon return to work following recovery, an employee who was on claim for less than twenty-four (24) months shall continue in her/his former job; an employee who was on claim for more than twenty-four (24) months shall return to an equivalent position, exercising her/his seniority rights if necessary, pur- suant to Article 6.04 of the Master Agreement.
