Leave Without Pay to Adjust Personal Affairs. Supervisors may be granted a leave of absence without pay of up to two years to adjust personal affairs (such as the winding up of a family business on the death or incapacitation of the family member in charge) in accordance with existing rules and regulations. Supervisors who are denied such a leave may refer the matter to the Chief Executive Officer of the Division of Human Resources for review and final determination.
