Legal Issues. During the term, any extended term and subsequent to termination of this Agreement, Independent Contractor represents, warrants, covenants and agrees:
(a) To indemnify and hold harmless Company from and against in respect of any and all liabilities, obligations, assessments, suits, actions, proceedings, claims or demands asserted against Independent Contractor or Company, or any judgments, damages, losses, including any loss of business or credit, costs, expenses and fees, including reasonable attorney’s fees incurred by Company arising from Independent Contractor’s negligent disregard or breach of any law, regulation or standard of conduct that applies to Independent Contractor’s actions or activities as a licensed real estate associate, or breach of or default in any provision of this agreement, and/or arising out of any transaction in which Independent Contractor acted as a real estate licensee through the Company that resulted in any claim, action or demand against Company (even if Independent Contractor was not negligent and/or otherwise at fault or in breach), but is expressly not limited to civil lawsuits, and does include administrative or regulatory actions by or before the Maryland, District of Columbia and/or Virginia Association of Realtors, the Maryland, District of Columbia and/or Virginia Department of Real Estate and any and all other Regulatory Authorities, Self- Regulating Agencies or the like, including without limitation, any costs, expenses and fees, including reasonable attorney’s fees incurred by Company in enforcing any provision of this Agreement.
(b) To defend, indemnify and hold harmless Company’s Designated Broker of record with the Department of Real Estate from and against in respect of any and all liabilities, obligations, assessments, suits, actions, proceedings, claims or demands asserted against Independent Contractor or Designated Broker, or any judgments, damages, losses, including any loss of business or credit, costs, expenses and fees, including reasonable attorney’s fees incurred by Designated Broker arising from Independent Contractor’s negligent disregard or breach of any law, regulation or standard of conduct that applies to Independent Contractor’s actions or activities as a licensed real estate associate, or breach of or default in any provision of this agreement, including without limitation, any costs, expenses and fees, including reasonable attorney’s fees incurred by Designated Broker in enforcing any provis...
Legal Issues. I acknowledge, understand, and agree that should I have or develop legal problems with any local government because of my individual actions, I will attend to the matter personally and agree that Houghton College is not required to intervene on my behalf.

Legal Issues. 6.1 Colorado Mesa University strongly discourages any employment by Participant during his/her participation in the Program. Further, Colorado Mesa University strongly discourages Participant from owning or operating vehicles while participating in a Program in a foreign country. Traffic congestion and different laws and regulations, civil and criminal, can make driving motor vehicles in foreign countries extremely hazardous. Insurance requirements, or other financial responsibility laws, vary from country to country. If, however, Participant engages in employment or operates a motor vehicle while abroad, Participant agrees that Colorado Mesa University has and assumes no financial responsibility for insurance, legal aid, or assistance in connection with any legal or tax difficulties, or for the care of the Participant should s/he be involved in a motor vehicle accident.
6.2 Participant acknowledges and understands that should Participant have or develop legal problems with any foreign nationals or government of the host country or State, Participant will attend to the matter personally with Participant's own personal funds. Colorado Mesa University is not responsible for providing any assistance under such circumstances.

Legal Issues. There are currently no legal issues associated with the project. The eminent domain action for the Xxxxx parcel (Road 1034) was completed in August 2020.

The source repository can be assumed to have a standing legal agreement with its own Producers clarifying intellectual property rights, responsibility for copyright infringement, and liabilities and warranties governing damage to content, treatment of content, and provision of services. In the case of repository-to-repository transfer, the legal relationship between the Producers and the original repository may carry over to the receiving repository but is more likely to require re-negotiation. Legal issues pertaining to the source repository must be considered separately from those pertaining to the original depositors, and documented in the inter- repository service agreement.
Legal Issues. 1. Guest Personnel and their Dependants shall be subject to the existing laws and regulations of the Receiving State during their presence in the territory of the Receiving State including their entry, stay and departure.
2. Criminal jurisdiction authority shall belong to the Receiving State.
3. In case that any of the Guest Personnel or their Dependants is detained or arrested, the Receiving State shall promptly inform the Sending State of this situation.
4. In case that any of the Guest Personnel or their Dependants faces a legal investigation or trial in the Receiving State, he or she shall be entitled to all the generally accepted legal protection, which shall be no less than the one enjoyed by the nationals of the Receiving State.
5. The activities of the Guest Personnel could be terminated if they violate the law of the Receiving State.
6. The Sending State shall retain exclusive disciplinary jurisdiction over the Guest Personnel within the territory of the Receiving State. However, the Receiving State may give order to the Guest Personnel under their command as they may be required by the duty.
