Length of Probationary Period. The probationary period is 1,040 compensable hours exclusive of overtime or any hours/time an employee is on an unpaid leave of absence, with the exception of leave resulting from an accepted worker’s compensation case. If federal, state or local law requires a longer probationary period, such law shall prevail. The probationary period for a part-time employee shall be the same as full-time employees.
