Common use of Level 2 Clause in Contracts

Level 2. If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance, or if no disposition has been made within five (5) days, the grievance shall be transmitted to the Superintendent. Within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the grievance, the Superintendent shall indicate the disposition of the grievance, in writing, to the grievant and the Association. The Superintendent or the Association may request a hearing be held with the grievant prior to a decision being rendered.

Level 2. If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance, or if no disposition has been made within five (5) school days, the grievance shall be transmitted to the Superintendent. Within fifteen (15) school days of the receipt of the grievance, the Superintendent shall indicate the a disposition of the grievance, grievance in writing, writing to the grievant Paraprofessional and the Association. The Superintendent may, at his/her option or at the Association may request of the Asso- ciation, hold a hearing be held with the grievant prior to rendering a decision being rendereddecision.

If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance, or if no disposition has been made the grievant shall, within five (5) days, the transmit grievance shall be transmitted documentation from Level 1 to the Superintendent or the Superintendent’s designee. Within fifteen ten (1510) days of from the receipt of the grievance, the Superintendent or designee shall meet with the employee on the grievance and shall indicate the disposition of the grievance, grievance in writing, writing within five (5) days of such meeting and shall furnish a copy thereof to the grievant and the Association. The Superintendent or the Association may request a hearing be held with the grievant prior to a decision being renderedgrievant.
