Level One - Formal. A. A grievance must be filed with the employee’s supervisor or building principal within five (5) working days of the occurrence of the alleged grievance. If such grievance is not lodged within five (5) working days, the grievance shall no longer exist. The written grievance shall be on a standard form supplied by the Board of Education and shall contain a concise statement of the facts upon which the grievance is based, and a reference to the specific provision of the written agreement allegedly violated, misinterpreted or misapplied and the relief sought. A copy of such grievance shall be filed with the Superintendent. The employee shall have a right to request a hearing before the supervisor or building principal. Such hearing shall be set within five (5) working days after the receipt of such request. The aggrieved employee shall be advised in writing of the time, place and date of such hearing.
