Common use of Level Clause in Contracts

Level. III In the event the grievant is not satisfied with the decision at Level II, the grievant may appeal the decision to the Assistant Superintendent within ten (10) days. The written appeal statement should include a copy of the original grievance, the decision rendered at previous level, and a clear concise statement of the reasons for the appeal. 19.4.2.1 The Assistant Superintendent shall communicate a decision in writing within ten (10) days after receiving the appeal. Either the grievant or the Assistant Superintendent may request a personal conference within the above limits to discuss the grievance. Either party may have a conferee present at such a conference. If the Assistant Superintendent does not respond within the time limits, the grievant may appeal to the next level.
