Lightweight extension Sample Clauses

Lightweight extension. This approach is restricted to the use and extension of an existing modelling language metamodel without modifying the abstract syntax or semantics of the source modelling language. The choice of approach certainly depends on the particular language application and on what kind of (and how many) design resources are available (tools, know-how, etc.). In a domain-specific modelling language (DSML) that derives from a lightweight extension of a general-purpose language, such as UML, we must make tradeoffs between a number of advantages and disadvantages. This is the approach carried on with the EAST-ADL2 language implementation. The main advantages of the lightweight extension mechanism are the low cost of support tools and a more effective language learning curve for multiple and long-term projects. This approach does not generally require very specialized training. Its disadvantages relate fundamentally to the base language, which must cover a broad semantic domain to be reused by multiple DSMLs. In UML, for instance, this implies specification of multiple semantic variation points that increases the complexity of the DSML design. Profiles [70] are the built-in lightweight mechanism that serves to extend MOF-based languages. More specifically, profiles are used to customize UML for a specific domain or purpose via extension mechanisms that enrich the semantics and syntax of the language. A stereotype is the basic feature for UML extension. It can be viewed as the specialization of an existing UML concept, which provides capability for modelling domain-specific concepts or patterns. Stereotypes may have attributes (also called tags) and be associated with other stereotypes or existing UML concepts. From a notational viewpoint, stereotypes can give a different graphical symbol for UML model elements. For instance, a class stereotyped as «clock» might use a picture of a clock symbol instead of the ordinary class symbol. Additionally, stereotypes can also be influenced by restrictions expressed in constraints. The standard machine-readable textual language for defining constraints in MOF-based languages is Object Constraint Language (OCL). Since the recent UML2 versions, profiles have significantly enhanced both the syntax and the semantics of the extension mechanisms: • Profiles integrate a special graphical notation that facilitates understanding of the defined extensions. Stereotypes are represented as classes linked to their base metaclasses by the “extens...

  • Contract Extension The City may, in its sole discretion, unilaterally exercise an option to extend the Contract as described in the Contract Documents. In addition, the City may, in its sole discretion, unilaterally extend the Contract on a month-to-month basis following contract expiration if authorized under Charter section 99 and the Contract Documents. Contractor shall not increase its pricing in excess of the percentage increase described in the Contract.

  • Time Limit Extension The above mentioned time limits may be extended in individual cases, by the written consent of both Parties to this Agreement.

  • Contract Extensions This Contract may be extended on an annual basis beyond the Initial Term if the Local Board successfully meets the terms of the Contract for at least three or more years as determined by the State Board.

  • Provisioning of Line Sharing and Splitter Space 3.2.1 BellSouth will provide ONS with access to the High Frequency Spectrum as follows:

  • TAM Extension Service The TAM Extension Service is an extension of a Red Hat Enterprise Linux TAM Service to provide additional technical knowledge such as SAP implementations on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The TAM Extension Service requires a separate active and paid standard TAM Service Subscription.

  • Provisioning Line Splitting and Splitter Space 3.8.1 The Data LEC, Voice CLEC or BellSouth may provide the splitter. When EZ Phone or its authorized agent owns the splitter, Line Splitting requires the following: a non-designed analog Loop from the serving wire center to the NID at the End User’s location; a collocation cross connection connecting the Loop to the collocation space; a second collocation cross connection from the collocation space connected to a voice port; the high frequency spectrum line activation, and a splitter. The Loop and port cannot be a Loop and port combination (i.e. UNE-P), but must be individual stand-alone Network Elements. When BellSouth owns the splitter, Line Splitting requires the following: a non designed analog Loop from the serving wire center to the NID at the End User’s location with CFA and splitter port assignments, and a collocation cross connection from the collocation space connected to a voice port.

  • Contract Term Extension “Contract Term Extension” means an extension of the term of this contract, at the request of Purchaser, under this Subsection. This Subsection does not obligate Contracting Officer to grant Contract Term Extension. When such extension is made, Forest Service shall make an appraisal using standard Forest Service methods and appraisal data in effect 45 days prior to the original Termination Date. Bid Premium Rates shall be added to such appraised rates to establish Flat Rates or Tentative Rates for the extension period. In event rates so established would develop Current Contract Value immediately prior to such an extension that is less than Current Contract Value at that time, Flat Rates and Tentative Rates in effect immediately prior to extension shall be retained for the extension period. In consideration for granting an extension, Purchaser shall pay the Government for Purchaser’s failure to cut and remove timber meeting Utilization Standards prior to Contract Term Extension, an amount that shall be the total of the costs to the Government resulting from the delay in harvest of Included Timber. Such costs will be determined by Forest Service and shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Provisioning of High Frequency Spectrum and Splitter Space 3.2.1 BellSouth will provide <<customer_name>> with access to the High Frequency Spectrum as follows:

  • Expansion Effective on and as of December 1, 2017 (such date being the -Expansion Commencement Date”), the Premises shall be expanded to include an additional 7,389 square feet of rentable area designated as Suite 100 of the Building (the “Expansion Space”), being more fully shown and described on the floor plan attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof for all purposes, for a term that is coterminous with the Lease Term. Tenant acknowledges that the Expansion Space is currently occupied by an existing tenant (the “Existing Tenant”) and that Landlord and such Existing Tenant are concurrently herewith entering into an early termination agreement to terminate such Existing Tenant’s lease as of November 30, 2017. Tenant hereby waives any claims against Landlord in the event that such Existing Tenant holds over in the Premises beyond the Expansion Commencement Date. If such Existing Tenant holds over in the Expansion Space beyond the Expansion Commencement Date, the Expansion Commencement Date, and Xxxxxx’s obligation to commence paying rent with respect to the Expansion Space, shall nonetheless still commence on the Expansion Commencement Date. Following such Existing Tenant surrendering the Expansion Space to Landlord, Landlord shall thereafter deliver the same to Tenant. Upon the Expansion Commencement Date, Landlord may prepare and deliver to Tenant a certificate establishing the Expansion Commencement Date, which Tenant shall acknowledge by executing a copy and returning it to Landlord within ten (10) business days after its receipt from Landlord. Failure of Landlord to send any such certificate shall have no effect on the Expansion Commencement Date. In the event there is any delay in the delivery of the Expansion Space to Tenant (including, without limitation, due to the Existing Tenant holding over in the Expansion Space past the expiration of its lease), then this First Amendment shall not be void or voidable, nor shall Landlord be liable to Tenant for any loss or damage resulting therefrom. Xxxxxx has advised Landlord that it intends to permit Existing Tenant continue to occupy the Expansion Space through December 15, 2017, and Landlord hereby consents to Tenant permitting Existing Tenant to remain the Expansion Space through such date; provided, however, the Expansion Commencement Date, and Tenant’s obligation to commence paying rent with respect to the Expansion Space, shall commence on the Expansion Commencement Date.

  • Term Extension It is understood and agreed that the State may extend the Term an additional period of time, not to exceed one hundred-eighty (180) days beyond the expiration date of this Grant Contract, under the same terms and conditions. In no event, however, shall the maximum Term, including all extensions or renewals, exceed a total of sixty (60) months.
