LOCAL BUSINESS AND EMPLOYMENT. 12.1 The Lessor acknowledges that the Lessee seeks to promote employment and business opportunities for local residents and firms on all Lessee agreements. The Lessor will, to the extent legally possible, solicit applications for employment, and bids and proposals for subcontractors, for work associated with this Agreement from local residents and firms as opportunities occur. The Lessor agrees to hire qualified local residents and firms whenever feasible.

For work associated with 41 this Lease and to the extent legally possible, Tenant shall use its best efforts to solicit applications for 42 employment and bids and proposals for contracts from local residents and firms as opportunities occur.

Subrecipient shall hire qualified local residents and firms, whenever feasible and allowed by law.

Metricom will, to the extent legally possible, solicit applications for employment, and bids and proposals for subcontracts, for work associated with this License agreement from local residents and firms as opportunities occur. Metricom agrees to hire qualified local residents and firms whenever feasible. Metricom understands that failure to comply with the above requirements and/or submitting false information in response to these requirements may result in termination of this License agreement and debarment from participating in City contracts for a period of not less than one (1) year.

Lessee shall use its best efforts to hire qualified local residents and firms whenever practicable.

For work associated with this Solar Sublease and to the extent legally possible, Sublessee shall use its best efforts to solicit applications for employment and bids and proposals for contracts from local residents and firms as opportunities occur. Sublessee shall use its best efforts to hire qualified local residents and firms whenever practicable.
