Common use of Lunch and Rest Periods Clause in Contracts

Lunch and Rest Periods. Each employee shall be granted a thirty (30) minute meal break each day of duty. Each employee shall be granted two (2) fifteen (15) minute coffee breaks during each day of duty. An employee required to work more than two (2) hours overtime shall be granted an additional coffee break. An employee who is required to remain on duty in excess of twelve (12) hours shall be granted an additional thirty (30) minute meal period.
