MAJOR EMPLOYEE RELATIONS INITIATIVES PROCESS. 11.1 The parties agree that throughout the life of this Agreement major change initiatives may be initiated which have site wide implications and which may significantly change working conditions. Such major initiatives can originate from any source. For those that arise within a particular plant or workgroup the first stage of the process will be to develop the idea and gain in principle agreement from the local 'Plant Composite Review Team'. For those that arise externally, the normal process would be to funnel the initiatives through the CC. For ratification and implementation the processes outlined in 11.2 and 11.3 will apply.

Such major initiatives can originate from any source. For those that arise within a particular plant or workgroup the first stage of the process will be to develop the idea and gain in principle agreement from the PCRT. For those that arise externally, the normal process would be to funnel the initiatives through the Management Team (AMT) or their representatives.   • EMPLOYEE RELATIONS Neither the Company nor any of its subsidiaries is involved in any labor dispute nor, to the knowledge of the Company or any of its subsidiaries, is any such dispute threatened. None of the Company's or its subsidiaries' employees is a member of a union and the Company and its subsidiaries believe that their relations with their employees are good.

  • ACTIONS BY EMPLOYEE RELATIONS BOARD If any action(s) by the Employee Relations Board prior to the expiration of this MOU result in any significant changes to the composition of this representational unit, the parties to this MOU will meet as soon as possible thereafter to consider any revisions or amendments thereto that may be required.

  • Refresh Provision for Permanent Employees Permanent Employees returning from LTD or workplace insurance leave to resume their regular working hours must complete eleven (11) consecutive working days at their regular working hours to receive a new allocation of sick/short-term disability leave. If the Employee has a recurrence of the same illness or injury, s/he is required to apply to reopen the previous LTD or WSIB claim, as applicable. The Local union and Local school board agree to continue to cooperate in the implementation and administration of early intervention and safe return to work processes as a component of the Short-Term Leave and Long-Term Disability Plans. In the event the Employee exhausts his/her sick/short-term disability leave allocation from the previous year and continues to work part-time, their salary will be reduced accordingly and a pro-rated sick/short-term allocation for the employee’s working portion of the current year will be provided. The new pro-rated sick/short-term leave allocation may not be used to top-up from part-time to full-time hours. Any changes to hours of work during a fiscal year shall result in an adjustment to the allocation.

  • DEPENDENT PERSONAL SERVICES 1. Subject to the provisions of Articles 16, 18 and 19, salaries, wages and other similar remuneration derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of an employment shall be taxable only in that State unless the employment is exercised in the other Contracting State. If the employment is so exercised, such remuneration as is derived therefrom may be taxed in that other State.

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Section 1. The Employer agrees to provide to the Union the statistical and program evaluation information provided to management concerning Employee Assistance Program(s).
