Maternity Adoption and Parental Leave. 15.01 Maternity, Adoption and Parental Leaves will be granted in accordance with the Employment Standards Act of Ontario (as amended from time to time), with a maximum combined duration of fifty two (52) weeks. Where a doctor’s certificate is provided stating that a longer period of maternity leave is required for health reasons, an extension of up to a maximum of one (1) additional year shall be allowed.
