For sick leave benefits to extend beyond the thirtieth (30th) work day beyond the birth of a child, the employee shall have a physician’s statement on file in the District’s payroll office concerning the health of the employee after the child’s birth and estimate of the approximate date the employee shall be recovered sufficiently to return to work.
