Common use of Maximum Entitlement Clause in Contracts

Maximum Entitlement. (a) The maximum length specified for each circumstance requiring use of leave with pay will not be exceeded; however, such leave may be granted more than once for the same circumstances within a fiscal year, provided the total leave is not more than ten working days per fiscal year. (b) Eligibility for leave pursuant to clauses 10.04 to 10.07 is subject to the expense being allowed by the particular funding source.
