MBE GOAL. A minimum Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) subcontract participation goal of an amount not less than ______% of the total dollar value of the contract (______% women owned business/______% African American owned business) has been established for this procurement. By submitting a response to this solicitation, the offeror/xxxxxx agrees that a Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) certified minority business enterprise(s) will perform this percentage of the dollar value of the Contract. In the event that two (2) or more offers are determined by the Procurement Officer to be equal, The Maryland Department of Health may award a Contract to the Bidder whose bid reflects the highest percentage of certified MBE participation.
MBE GOAL. An overall MBE subcontract participation goal of 5 percent of the total revenue paid to the State has been established for this procurement. ♦ By submitting a response to this solicitation, the bidder or Offeror agrees that the goals of the contract will be performed by certified minority business enterprises as specified. ♦ A prime contractor — including an MBE prime contractor — must accomplish an amount of work not less than the MBE subcontract goal with certified MBE subcontractors. ♦ A prime contractor comprising a joint venture that includes MBE partner(s) must accomplish the MBE subcontract goal with certified MBE subcontractors.
