MEAL BREAK PENALTY. On days when two (2) performances, are scheduled and it is not possible, with the changeover, for the personnel involved to have a full one (1) hour meal break, there will be one (1) hour paid at double the prevailing rate and a proper meal will be provided for each person involved and paid for by the Festival. Alternately, the personnel may elect to be paid the cash equivalent of the meal instead of a meal provided by the Festival at the rate specified in Schedule B.

MEAL BREAK PENALTY. Personnel shall have not less than a one (1) hour meal break between the matinee and evening performance and/or dress rehearsal/work call. If not allowed one hour he/she will be paid one hour at double the prevailing rate plus a meal allowance of Twenty dollars and sixty cents ($20.60) with the exception of a laundry/maintenance call followed by a matinee performance call where scheduling cannot accommodate the one (1) hour meal break, a half (1/2) hour meal break without penalty shall apply.
MEAL BREAK PENALTY. 43.1 A flight attendant must be paid a penalty if: 43.1.1 the flight attendant has worked a daily duty period of six hours or more; and 43.1.2 has not been allowed a daily duty meal break of twenty minutes. 43.2 The penalty paid to the flight attendant must be calculated as follows: 43.2.1 if the flight attendant works for one hour or part of an hour beyond five hours and forty minutes until the commencement of a meal break of twenty minutes or until relieved from duty, the flight attendant must be paid an additional fifty percent of base rate of pay for one hour; or 43.2.2 if the flight attendant works for more than an hour beyond five hours and forty minutes until the commencement of a meal break of twenty minutes or until relieved from duty, the flight attendant must be paid an additional fifty percent of base rate of pay for such longer period as is actually worked. 43.3 From the certification of this Agreement, Qantas may cease the automatic payment system for the Meal Break Penalty arrangements within this clause. Claims for the Meal Break Penalty will be prepared and submitted by a Flight Attendant after being countersigned by the CSM on duty at the commencement of the Meal Break Not Taken period.

  • Overtime Penalty Rates On projects where the Total Cost of Work is $50m or greater, all time worked in excess of the ordinary hours and on weekends shall be paid at double time.

  • Special Maternity Allowance for Totally Disabled Employees (a) An employee who: (i) fails to satisfy the eligibility requirement specified in subparagraph 17.02(a)(ii) solely because a concurrent entitlement to benefits under the Disability Insurance (DI) Plan, the Long term Disability (LTD) Insurance portion of the Public Service Management Insurance Plan (PSMIP) or the Government Employees Compensation Act prevents her from receiving Employment Insurance or Québec Parental Insurance Plan maternity benefits, and (ii) has satisfied all of the other eligibility criteria specified in paragraph 17.02(a), other than those specified in sections (A) and (B) of subparagraph 17.02(a)(iii), shall be paid, in respect of each week of maternity allowance not received for the reason described in subparagraph (i), the difference between ninety-three per cent (93%) of her weekly rate of pay and the gross amount of her weekly disability benefit under the DI Plan, the LTD Plan or via the Government Employees Compensation Act. (b) An employee shall be paid an allowance under this clause and under clause 17.02 for a combined period of no more than the number of weeks during which she would have been eligible for maternity benefits under the Employment Insurance or Québec Parental Insurance Plan had she not been disqualified from Employment Insurance or Québec Parental Insurance maternity benefits for the reasons described in subparagraph (a)(i).
