Common use of Meal Period Breaks During Employment Clause in Contracts

Meal Period Breaks During Employment. 6.5.1 All employees covered by this Agreement shall have an unpaid meal period of at least one (1) hour duration that begins no later than the end of the fifth continuous hour (<300 minutes) of work except as noted below. Meal periods may be staggered to allow uninterrupted continuation of the work call as long as there are enough personnel remaining on duty to ensure that the work is done in a safe, professional manner.
