Common use of Meals when working overtime Clause in Contracts

Meals when working overtime. An employee required to work overtime for at least 1.5 hours after working ordinary hours will be paid by their employer an amount of $12.47 to meet the cost of a meal, plus an additional $12.47 for each subsequent four hours worked. The employer may provide a meal or meals instead of paying any such allowance.
