Common use of MEDICAL EXAMINATION AND TREATMENT Clause in Contracts

MEDICAL EXAMINATION AND TREATMENT. The Company at its own expense shall have the right and opportunity to conduct medical examination on the Insured Person when and as often as it may reasonably require during a pending claim under this Policy and to make an autopsy in the case of death where it is not forbidden by law. The Insured Person shall as soon as possible after the occurrence of any Injury or Sickness obtain and follow the advice of a duly Qualified Medical Practitioner and the Company shall not be liable for any consequences arising by reason of the Insured Person 's failure to obtain or follow such advice and use such appliances or remedies as may be prescribed.
