Common use of Meetings and Compensation Clause in Contracts

Meetings and Compensation. 1. The LPDC shall meet as often as the members deem necessary to complete their work. The schedule of meetings will be provided to each staff member at the beginning of the school year. Additional meetings may be scheduled as necessary. 2. Unit Members on the committee shall be paid at a rate of twenty dollars ($20) per hour for hours spent outside of the teacher work day. There shall be a cap of four hundred (400) hours per year outside of the Teacher work day for all Unit Members on the committee, for a total cap of $8,000 per year. Any additional hours beyond this cap must be specifically approved by the Superintendent.

The Chairperson shall be paid $25.00 per hour, paid in quarter hour increments, for hours spent preparation, record keeping and meeting time. Payment will be made only for meetings attended outside of the teacher work dayworkday. There shall be a cap of four hundred (400) hours per year outside of $2,250.00 for the Teacher work day for all Unit Members on the committee, for a District total cap of $8,000 per each school year. Any additional hours beyond this cap must be specifically approved by the Superintendent.
