The parties to this Agreement acknowledge that CSEA has notified the employer to implement the provisions of Government code Section 3546(a), requiring as a condition of employment, the deduction of CSEA dues or fair share fee from the wages or salary of every bargaining unit member. This agreement requires an employee as a condition of continued employment to either join the Association or pay the Association a service fee in an amount not to exceed the standard initiation fee, periodic dues, and general assessments of the organization.
