Mentors. Mentors will be compensated based on the number of novice teachers assigned and the experience of each novice teacher. Compensation will be at the following rates: • Category 1 or 2 novice teachers in the first year of $250 per each novice teacher employment in the District: • Category 1 or 2 novice teachers in the second year of employment in the District:
