Early Dismissal DTU representatives and/or elective officers shall be permitted to leave the work location at 4:15 p.m., if assigned to administrative buildings, and at the time students are dismissed, if assigned to a school center, in order to attend DTU meetings. Those leaving to attend such meetings must advise the administrator in charge reasonably in advance of such meetings.
Are There Penalties for Early Distribution from a Xxxx XXX As indicated above, earnings on your contributions, as well as amounts contributed to a Xxxx XXX as a rollover from a Traditional IRA, that are distributed before certain events are subject to various taxes. Termination Due To Lack Of Funding Appropriation If, in the judgment of the Director of Accounts and Reports, Department of Administration, sufficient funds are not appropriated to continue the function performed in this agreement and for the payment of the charges hereunder, State may terminate this agreement at the end of its current fiscal year. State agrees to give written notice of termination to contractor at least 30 days prior to the end of its current fiscal year, and shall give such notice for a greater period prior to the end of such fiscal year as may be provided in this contract, except that such notice shall not be required prior to 90 days before the end of such fiscal year. Contractor shall have the right, at the end of such fiscal year, to take possession of any equipment provided State under the contract. State will pay to the contractor all regular contractual payments incurred through the end of such fiscal year, plus contractual charges incidental to the return of any such equipment. Upon termination of the agreement by State, title to any such equipment shall revert to contractor at the end of the State's current fiscal year. The termination of the contract pursuant to this paragraph shall not cause any penalty to be charged to the agency or the contractor.
Hearing Levels Level 1. An employee and/or Association having cause for a complaint shall, within twenty (20) days of its occurrence or knowledge of its occurrence, file a grievance form (Appendix C) with the immediate supervisor. An Association representative may participate if requested by the employee. A copy of the grievance form shall be given to the Association by the grievant at the time of filing. The immediate supervisor shall issue a decision within ten (10) days to the grievant and a copy filed with the Association by the immediate supervisor. After the filing of the grievance, an extension of up to ten (10) additional days shall be granted at the request of either party.
Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.
Summary Dismissal The employer has the right to dismiss any employee without notice for serious misconduct and in such cases any entitlements under this award are to be paid up to the time of dismissal only.
Reemployment in Same Class Following Layoff An employee who has acquired permanent status in a position and who is laid off because of lack of work or funds and is re-employed in the same class after such layoff shall be paid the salary step attained prior to layoff.
Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.
Self-Funded Leave 25.2.1 An employee may apply to participate in the self funded leave plan as permitted under the Income Tax Act (Canada) in order to defer pre-tax salary dollars to fund a leave of absence. The deferral period must be at least one (1) year and not more than four (4) years.
Dismissal The School shall not dismiss or transfer a student involuntarily, unless the dismissal or transfer is accomplished through procedures established by the School that are in compliance with applicable laws and due process requirements, provided that any dismissal of a student with a disability shall comply with the requirements of Ch. 8-60, HAR.
