Regular and Special Education. Added Duty Assignments may be issued to bargaining unit members for teaching less than a twenty (20) percent student load above his/her regular assignment. Compensation shall be at the double sub rate prorated. It is not the intent of this Sub- Section to subvert class size maximums in this Agreement, and only in extraordinary circumstances shall an Added Duty Assignment be issued under this Sub-Section.

Regular and Special Education. Notwithstanding Sub-Section 1.1, Added Duty Assignments, or legally mandated Added Duty Assignments, may be issued to bargaining unit members for meeting compliance issues, for example, IEP meetings, due process hearings, expulsion hearings, Section 504 hearings, et cetera. Compensation shall be at the hourly rate (formerly Adult School Rate).

Regular and Special Education. Notwithstanding Sub-Section 6.2 bargaining unit members who attend mandated meetings, such as IEP meetings, due process hearings, expulsion hearings, as well as Section 504 meetings, et cetera, shall be compensated at the hourly rate for meetings that occur outside of their regular work day and for making up preparation time that was missed in order to attend the meeting. Members who attend SST meetings shall be compensated at the hourly rate.

Related to Regular and Special Education

  • Special Education Special education services, related services, and accommodations for students who are eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any applicable provisions of state law, shall be provided in accordance with applicable state and federal law, this Agreement and Authorizer rules and policies. The Authorizer is the LEA for purposes of ensuring compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and all other federal and state laws and regulations concerning accommodation of and education of students with disabilities.

  • Dimensions Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Or equivalent work experience. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of IT work experience in production and operations support.

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).

  • Special Education Services 1. The parties agree to uphold the tenets contained within the "Special Education Services: A Manual of Policies, Procedures and Guidelines” document (February 2011) published by the BC Ministry of Education.

  • International Education Surveys 33A) The Secretary of State may, by notice in writing to the Academy Trust, require the Academy Trust to participate in an international education survey and the Academy Trust shall, upon receipt of such notice, participate in that survey and provide to the Secretary of State or to those carrying out the survey all such assistance and information as may reasonably be required for the purposes of the Academy’s participation in that survey.
