Common use of Mid-Day Shift Clause in Contracts

Mid-Day Shift. 1814 The mid-day shift shall be paid at a minimum of one and one-half (1-1/2) 1815 hours duration with an unpaid, uninterrupted, duty-free lunch period taken 1816 at the end of the shift, unless the supervisor determined that 1817 circumstances require the lunch period to be taken in the middle of the 1818 shift.
