Minimum Call Employees Other Than Trainees. Employees (other than Trainees) who are called to work shall receive a minimum eight (8) hours’ pay at the applicable hourly rate. If an employee works a schedule of four (4) days, with ten (10) hours straight time each day, such employee who is called for work shall receive a minimum of ten (10) hours’ pay at the applicable hourly rate. Employees who are called back to work on the same work day shall receive a minimum of eight (8) hours’ pay at the applicable overtime rate. All employees who are assigned to a USH show or special event occurring outside Universal Studios Hollywood, California, shall receive a minimum of six (6) hours’ pay at the applicable hourly rate.

  • Part-time Employees Eligible for Holidays 367. Part-time employees who regularly work a minimum of twenty (20) hours in a bi-weekly pay period shall be entitled to holiday pay on a proportionate basis. 368. Regular full-time employees are entitled to 8/80 or 1/10 time off when a holiday falls in a bi-weekly pay period, therefore, part-time employees, as defined in the immediately preceding paragraph, shall receive a holiday based upon the ratio of 1/10 of the total hours regularly worked in a bi-weekly pay period. Holiday time off shall be determined by calculating 1/10 of the hours worked by the part-time employee in the bi-weekly pay period immediately preceding the pay period in which the holiday falls.   • Employees on Pre-scheduled Leave If an employee is on pre-scheduled leave the day of the closure, the employee will be compensated according to the approved leave.
