MINIMUM PAY FOR EXTRA WORK. Section 1. All bus operators who are assigned or called for extra work or to report for extra work shall receive a minimum of three (3) hours of pay time at the time and one-half hourly rate of pay; provided, however, such extra work does not immediately precede or succeed a run or extra work which the bus operator is about to work or is already working, the combination of which contains three (3) hours of pay time.

MINIMUM PAY FOR EXTRA WORK. Any Regular Operator having worked a regular run and performing extra work before or after a regular run or being called for extra work during the interim of two periods of a regular run shall be paid one and one-half times their regular straight-time rate for such extra work with a minimum of two hours time. Any Regular Operator called for extra work not otherwise herein outlined, shall be paid time and one-half, with a minimum of two work hours. Any Extra-Board or Flextrans Extra-Board Operator who is called to work and who is released without receiving an assignment shall be paid two hours pay. Operators, after having worked a regular run and being called for special work, will be allowed 30 minutes for meals before such work, if possible; if not, they will be allowed 30 minutes time after four hours of such work. Special work is defined as any work not a regular run or regular tripper. If, through no fault of the operator, a Regular Operator is temporarily displaced from his or her assigned run, the operator shall be paid eight hours or the amount of that regular run, provided that the Regular Operator relieve that assignment as soon as possible and that any operator temporarily assigned to that work report his or her availability immediately to the dispatcher. If the operator is not able to reassume his or her regular assignment, then such operator shall immediately report his or her availability to the dispatcher and accept such assignment for that day as is made by the dispatcher. Acts of God, war, earthquake and civil commotion shall relieve UTA from liability under this section.

  • Compensation for Employees Employees shall receive compensation at the biweekly or hourly rate for the range and step or flat rate assigned to the class in which they are employed.

  • Transportation for Employees Transportation will be provided to employees who are required to work other than their normal working hours, and who must travel to or from their home during the hours between 11:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. and when convenient public transportation or other transportation facilities are not available. An employee shall be reimbursed for the cost of commercial transportation within their headquarters area, upon presentation of receipts.

  • Equal Pay for Equal Work The principle of equal pay for equal work shall apply, regardless of sex.

  • Benefits for Early Retirees The Hospital will provide to all employees who retire and have not yet reached age sixty-five (65) and who are in receipt of the Hospital’s pension plan benefits, semi-private, extended health care and dental benefits on the same basis as is provided to active employees, as long as the retiree pays the Employer the full amount of the monthly premiums in advance.

  • Reimbursement for Expenses Consultant shall not be reimbursed for any expenses unless authorized in writing by City.
