Hours of Pay Sample Clauses

Hours of Pay. When a person is put to work they shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay. When they work more than four (4) hours they shall receive eight (8) hours pay. Provided, however, that when work is made available and the person leaves on their own volition or is discharged for cause, they shall be paid for actual time worked. Reporting pay on overtime days shall be at the overtime rate. Work performed on overtime days may be paid for actual time worked provided that there is a minimum of three (3) hours worked.
Hours of Pay. When an employee has reported to work and has reached his or her designated working place he or she shall be provided eight (8) hours work or be paid the full eight (8) hours in lieu thereof for eight (8) hour shift employees, or for twelve (12) hour shift employees be provided twelve (12) hours work or be paid the full twelve (12) hours in lieu thereof.
Hours of Pay. 30.1 All employees shall receive the hours of work at the rate of pay specified in their contract, except as such hours or pay may be reduced pursuant to law. 30.2 All employees shall receive the paid holidays required by law. 30.3 All employees required by the Board to attend in-service meetings scheduled in addition to the employee's regularly contracted work year shall be paid their hourly rate of pay for all "in, service" hours. The Board of Education will determine what constitutes in- service hours. 30.4 Employees required to work a second or third shift shall receive a pay differential in the following amounts based on a 188 day schedule:

The Hospital will 21 then attempt to call in nurses from the unit and shift on MDO who are not on 22 standby, but such nurses are not required to come to work. 24 6. If MDO time is needed on a unit and no nurse is able to be MDO'd 25 pursuant to paragraph B.1 above, a Float Nurse will be assigned tasks or 26 projects by the Hospital. 28 C. Reduction in Force 29 1. A reduction in force is defined as the involuntary elimination of a 30 regular nurse’s position or an involuntary reduction of a regular nurse’s 31 scheduled hours or shifts. 33 2. For purposes of this article, “qualified” means that the nurse is able 34 to be precepted on site at The Hospital up to six weeks of assuming the new role 1 or position.
Hours of Pay. ‌ Employees assigned to a 24 hours on-duty/48 hours off-duty work schedule, and not scheduled to work, shall receive 12 hours of pay at their straight time hourly rate for each of the above-listed Holidays, except for the Personal Holiday. Those employees who work on a Recognized (Actual) Holiday shall receive two (2) times their straight time hourly rate for each hour worked. Employees assigned to a 40-hour work schedule shall receive eight (8) hours of pay at their straight time hourly rate for each of the above-listed Holidays, except for the Personal Holiday, for which they shall receive 16 hours of pay at their straight time hourly rate. Payouts after the Conversion to a 40-Hour Overtime Threshold (see Article 11.7 of this Agreement) shall be calculated at the employee’s (post-conversion) hourly rate of pay times 1.097142.
Hours of Pay. If the employee is on scheduled vacation, the employee will receive holiday pay unless he/she opts to charge the observed holiday as a day of vacation leave. If the employee elects this option they will also receive a holiday credit. In no event shall an employee be permitted to charge an observed holiday as a day of sick leave.

  • Hours of Service The minimum number of Hours of Service an Employee must complete during a vesting computation period to receive credit for a Year of Service is: (Choose (c) or (d)) [X] (c) 1,000 Hours of Service.

  • Hours of Coverage The TAM Service is offered during local Red Hat Support Standard Business Hours as set forth at xxxxx://xxxxxx.xxxxxx.xxx/support/contact/technicalSupport.html (based on the physical location of the TAM representative).

  • Hours of Labor This provision is required by statute. As required and except as provided by ORS 279B.020(7) and (8), 279B.235(5), and 279C.540(8), for Contractor’s employees subject to Oregon employment laws: Maximum Hours: Employees shall be paid at least time and a half pay for all time worked in excess of 10 hours in any one day or in excess of 40 hours in any one week, whichever is greater. Employees shall also be paid at least time and a half pay for work performed on the legal holidays specified in a collective bargaining agreement or on Saturdays, Sundays, New Year’s Day (Jan. 1), Memorial Day (last Monday in May), Independence Day (July 4), Labor Day (first Monday in September), Thanksgiving Day (fourth Thursday in November), and Christmas Day (December 25).

  • Hours Worked For the purpose of computing the number of hours worked, all time during which an employee is in paid status shall be construed as hours worked.

  • Hours of Access You can use Online Banking seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day, although some or all Online Banking services may not be available occasionally due to emergency or scheduled system maintenance.   • Rates of Pay (a) Employees shall be paid in accordance with the rates of pay negotiated by the Parties of this Agreement. For information purposes, the applicable rates of pay are recorded as Appendix A to this Agreement. (b) The distribution of paycheques shall be done in such a manner that the details of the paycheque shall be confidential.

  • Workweek A regularly re-occurring period of one hundred and sixty-eight (168) hours consisting of seven (7) consecutive twenty-four (24) hour periods. Workweeks will normally begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 12:00 midnight the following Saturday or as otherwise designated by the appointing authority. If there is a change in their workweek, employees will be given written notification by the appointing authority or their designee.

  • Hours of Duty (a) The prescribed hours of duty may be worked with flexible commencement and finishing times in accordance with the provisions of this clause. (b) For the purpose of leave, public holidays and days in lieu of the repealed Public Service Holidays, a day shall be credited as 7.5 hours.

  • Part-time Vacation Pay If the Employer currently has the computer systems’ capability to implement bi- weekly vacation pay, they shall do so by the start of the next vacation year or earlier. Those Employers with no computer capability will endeavour to implement bi- weekly vacation pay if there is no significant administrative burden, by the start of the next vacation year or earlier. If the Employer does not so implement, it will provide reasons in writing to the Union. Where possible without extensive programming changes, the amount of vacation pay will be separately identified on the pay stub.

  • Rate of Pay a. An Employee who is employed as a TTOC shall be paid 1/189 of their category classification and experience, to a maximum of the rate at Category 5 Step 8, for each full day worked.
