Minimum Rate. No employee will receive less than the minimum rate for the job.
Minimum Rate. No person in the classified service shall be paid at a rate below the minimum step in the range to which his position is assigned.

Minimum Rate. Effective 30 days following ratification of this contract, each PhD student shall receive a stipend equal to or greater than $45,000 for a twelve (12)- month appointment as defined by our academic calendar. The University may pay more than the minimum rate at its discretion, so long as all similarly situated PhD Graduate Workers funded within a given Department or Program are paid at the same rate. 18.1(b) Twelve (12)-Month Support. All stipended PhD Graduate Workers within their guaranteed funding period will receive 12 months of support. This means that Graduate Workers who had previously received eight (8)-month appointments will receive an additional four months of stipend support for approved (research) service or scholarship, to be approved by their departments.
Minimum Rate. Each interest rate set under this Contract will always be greater than or equal to that described by the NAIC Standard Nonforfeiture Law for Individual Deferred Annuities, which is currently the average of the five (5) year Constant Maturity Treasury rates reported by the Federal Reserve over the first thirteen (13) months of the fifteen (15) month period immediately preceding the date on which such Portfolio Interest Rate is effective, rounded to the nearest .05% and reduced by 1.25% (the “Minimum Rate”), provided that such Minimum Rate will not be less than 1.00%, nor greater than 3.00%.
Minimum Rate. The compensation rate set forth in sub-sections A and C above is a minimum rate and does not preclude the University from compensating any Employee at a rate above the minimum rate for any semester in its sole discretion. The University shall have the right to set the compensation for any Employee for any semester and for all courses as long as the rate of compensation is at or above the minimum. The rates set for any particular Employee for a particular course other than the minimum rate set forth above are not precedential and shall not bind the University to the same rate for other Employees teaching that course or other courses.
