MINORITY BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. 2 C.F.R. § 200.321 requires that all necessary affirmative steps are taken to assure that minority and women’s businesses are used when possible, and N.C. Gen. Stat. 143-128.2 establish a ten percent (10%) goal for participation by minority and women owned businesses in total value of work for the HRP. MINORITY BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. 22.1 It is the policy of OWASA to provide minority businesses an equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of OWASA’s contract activities. Consultant shall comply with OWASA’s Minority Business Participation Outreach Plan and Guidelines.
MINORITY BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. It is the policy of the Owner to encourage the use of minority businesses in all school construction contracts and to have a verifiable goal of ten percent (10%) participation by minority businesses in the total value of the work. It is the intent of this policy that the Owner, as awarding authority for school construction projects, and all Contractors and Subcontractors performing the construction contracts awarded shall cooperate and in good faith do all things legal, proper, and reasonable to achieve the verifiable goal of ten percent (10%) participation. The Bidder shall make a good faith effort to utilize minority businesses per the requirements of Section IInformation to Bidders, Article I-8.
MINORITY BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. Contractor is required to identify participation of Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) in its proposal and document how that participation is achieved. There is a verifiable goal of ten percent (10%) for participation by minority businesses in the total value of work for the Project. Contractor shall comply with the document titled “Guidelines For Recruitment and Selection of Minority Businesses For Participation In Town of Apex Construction Contracts”, including associated Affidavits and Appendices which are hereby incorporated herein.
MINORITY BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. The IUC-PG has a goal consistent with the IUC-PG of Ohio legislative mandate to help members procure a percentage of its goods and services from IUC-PG Certified Minority Suppliers (CMV) and/or Encouraging Diversity Growth and Equity (EDGE) suppliers. To help the IUC-PG and participating universities in this effort, Respondents are asked to confirm their MBE and/or EDGE certification eligibility or that of any subcontractors in their response package. New Products/Services New or related product lines/services, not available at the time of bidding, may be added during the course of this agreement with prior approval of the IUC-PG. Requests to add new related product lines/services must be submitted to the IUC-PG Executive Director for prior approval before offerings are made to the member institutions.
MINORITY BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. GS 143-128.2 establishes a ten percent (10%) goal for participation by minority business in total value of work for each State building project. For construction contracts with a value of less than $300,000, the Owner has the responsibility to make a good faith effort to solicit minority bids and to attain the goal. The contractor shall include with his bid a completed Identification of HUB Certified/Minority Business Participation form. Contractor shall submit completed Appendix E MBE Documentation for Contract Payments form with final payment request. For construction contracts with a value of $300,000 or greater, the contractor shall comply with the document Guidelines for Recruitment and Selection of Minority Businesses for Participation in State Construction Contracts including Identification of Minority Business Participation, Affidavits A, B, C, and D, and Appendix E. These forms provided herein are hereby incorporated and made a part of this contract.

  • Program Participation By participating in the CRF Program, Grantee agrees to:

  • Utilization of Minority Business Enterprises The Contractor shall perform under this Contract in accordance with 45 C.F.R. Part 74; and, as applicable, C.G.S. §§ 4a-60 to 4a-60a and 4a-60g to carry out this policy in the award of any subcontracts.

  • Employee Participation The Employer will assist employees' participation in health promotion and health education programs. Health promotion and health education programs that have been endorsed by the Employer (Minnesota Management & Budget) will be considered to be non-assigned job-related training pursuant to Administrative Procedure 21. Approval for this training is at the discretion of the Appointing Authority and is contingent upon meeting staffing needs in the employee's absence and the availability of funds. Employees are eligible for release time, tuition reimbursement, or a pro rata combination of both. Employees may be reimbursed for up to one hundred (100) percent of tuition or registration costs upon successful completion of the program. Employees may be granted release time, including the travel time, in lieu of reimbursement.

  • PARTICIPATION IN SIMILAR ACTIVITIES This agreement in no way restricts the U.S. Forest Service or from participating in similar activities with other public or private agencies, organizations, and individuals.

  • Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Participation Pursuant to Education Code section 71028 and Public Contract Code section 10115, the District may have a participation goal for disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs) of at least three (3) percent per year of funds expended each year by the District on projects that use funds from the California Community College Chancellor’s Office. This Project may use funds allocated under the Act. Therefore, to the extent feasible and pertaining to future hirings, the Consultant, before it executes the Agreement, shall provide to the District certification of compliance with the procedures for implementation of DVBE contracting goals, appropriate documentation identifying the amount(s) intended to be paid to DVBEs in conjunction with the contract, and documentation demonstrating the Consultant’s good faith efforts to meet these goals.

  • PARTICIPATION IN CENTRALIZED CONTRACTS a. Agencies All State Agencies may utilize and purchase under any Centralized Contract let by the Commissioner, unless the Bid Documents limit purchases to specific State Agencies.
