NAPS Sample Clauses

NAPS. Children under the age of four years old are required to lie down in the afternoon. Naptime is from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Infants will sleep in an approved porta-crib in an upstairs bedroom. Toddlers and preschoolers sleep in bunk beds in the downstairs bedrooms. At the age of four, if you and I agree they are ready to give up naptime, they can take quiet time in the playroom watching a movie while the other children nap.

NAPS. Does your child nap regularly? Yes No What is the naptime routine?
NAPS. We will offer infants a morning nap, generally between the hours of 8am to 10 am or as needed. Older children will be offered an afternoon nap after lunch, generally between the hours of 12-3(not usually this amount of time). All children are expected to at least rest quietly during this time, so that the children who sleep can do so. If your child does not take naps at home then please help us encourage them to rest quietly during this time by having conversations with them about the importance of other children getting their sleep. I do not allow play at this time because I have found that once I allow quiet play, it very quickly turns into disruptive play and the napping children are woken up. If your child has a special blanket or stuffed animal that they like to sleep with they may bring it to daycare. We provide sheets, pillows and pillow cases. I wash all linens once a week more often if there is an illness going around.
