Needle Stick/Sharp Safety Alternative. The Employer in consultation with the Joint health and Safety Committee shall develop, establish and put into effect, needle stick/sharps injury prevention and control measures, procedures, practices, equipment and training for the health and safety of workers. The Employer will provide training on needle stick/sharps injury prevention and control measures, procedures, practices, equipment and training. The program shall be reviewed and revised as required in light of the current knowledge and practice.
