Common use of New Employee Notice Clause in Contracts

New Employee Notice. When an Employee is employed, the Hospital shall deliver to the Employee a written notice stating that the Hospital recognizes the Union as the agent representing its Employees, and shall quote in full this Article of this Agreement. The Hospitals will permit a Union Representative to address new Employees who wish to remain at the end of general orientation for a brief informational presentation by a Union Representative. Such attendance by new Employees will be voluntary and will not be paid time. The parties understand that the purpose of this meeting is to present non-controversial information concerning the Union to new Employees.
