Payroll Deductions, Union Dues and Agency Shop Language. A. Union dues will be deducted by Management from the wages of employees when the deductions are authorized by Council Policy 300.06, Employee-Employer Relations Policy, section VI (B) certified by the Union, to the extent permitted by law. Effective July 1, 2010, it is agreed that Union dues shall be deducted in the amount of $16.00 for 24 of the 26 pay periods by Management from the salary of employees when authorized by Section VI (B) of the Employer- Employee Relations Policy who file with the City a written authorization requesting that such deductions be made.
