NIGHT ALLOWANCE/NIGHT RATE. 6.5.1 An employee whose normal hours of duty fall between 2100 hours and 0600 hours from midnight Sunday/Monday to midnight Friday/Saturday, will be paid at time one quarter of the normal hourly rate of pay (T0.25) in addition to normal salary for all hours which so fall. 6.5.2 The night rate is not to be paid when overtime is being worked or a penal rate is payable.
