Footwear Allowance. The Company will reimburse full-time employees up to fifty ($50.00) dollars per year toward the cost of footwear upon presentation of a receipt. Eligible employees will receive reimbursement for footwear upon completion of six (6) months' service. Once employees have received the footwear allowance, they must wear such footwear during work hours.
Footwear Allowance. The City shall pay the amounts in A through C below, per Agreement year for each regular full-time employee as partial reimbursement for the cost of purchasing or repairing protective or other specified footwear or other work gear (example: rain-gear, gloves etc.) when such items are required by the City. Requests for reimbursement of such footwear or gear shall be accompanied by an itemized receipt showing the amount and place of purchase or repair. An employee who does not use the full amount in one calendar year may carry over the remaining balance to the next year for use in addition to the amount allocated for that year. This carryover shall extend for the three (3) calendar years of the Agreement, but not into the ensuing year after the expiration of the Agreement. Temporary employees who qualify for the "0521st hour through 1040th hour" level of premium pay or greater as set forth within Section 1.2.2, shall be eligible for receipt of the footwear or gear allowance every other year subject to the conditions set forth herein for receipt of same by regular employees. Gear does not include articles of clothing already being issued.
A. Effective January 1, 2019, one hundred forty-four dollars ($144.00)
B. Effective January 1, 2020, one hundred seventy-five dollars ($175.00).
C. Effective January 1, 2021, two hundred dollars ($200.00).
Footwear Allowance. The Company will pay employees a footwear allowance of one hundred ($100) per year. Employees must provide a receipt to the Company.
19.02.01 Where footwear is damaged by a work accident reported in accordance with Company policy, the Company will either reimburse the employee for the reasonable costs of repair or pay the employee the applicable allowance for the replacement of the footwear.
Footwear Allowance. All part time employees with a minimum of two (2) years of service that are required by the Employer to purchase and use safety footwear will be reimbursed thirty ($30) dollars upon presentation of a receipt. This reimbursement is on a one-time basis during the life of the agreement. Full-time employees will be entitled to reimbursement of thirty ($30) dollars twice during the life of this Collective Agreement upon presentation of a receipt. Safety shoes must be entirely black in colour and must be Canadian Standards Approved (CSA). The Employer is required to make a reasonable effort to verbally advise individual employees of changes to their work schedule once it has been posted. Shop Stewards shall be provided with copies of schedules upon request.
Footwear Allowance. Employees who are currently required to wear steel-toed safety footwear during working hours shall have the cost of purchasing such footwear reimbursed to them by the Employer up to a maximum of one hundred and seventy-five ($175.00) dollars every twelve (12) months. Production employees will be reimbursed up to a maximum of one hundred and twenty-five ($125.00) dollars on the purchase of safety footwear. Employees shall be entitled to purchase same at a place of their choosing. To receive compensation the employee must provide the Employer with an original receipt verifying the purchase. Such compensation shall be added to the employee’s regular pay and shall not be taxed. Employees who receive such allowance must wear their safety footwear while at work.
Footwear Allowance. Effective September 1, 1999 employees who are required to use special footwear by the employer or by law shall receive an allowance of $75.00 per year up to a maximum of $225.00 (3 years) when such footwear is purchased.
Footwear Allowance. Cabin Personnel shall receive a footwear allowance of one hundred and twenty dollars ($120.00) per year to be paid on July 1st of each year.
Footwear Allowance. The County will pay each employee $200 in additional compensation each year, to be included in the February paycheck, as a footwear allowance.
Footwear Allowance. Employees who have completed one (1) year of service will be provided reimbursement of one hundred dollars ($100.00) each year towards the purchase of C.S.A. approved safety footwear.
Footwear Allowance. The Employer will supply the safety equipment it considers necessary to protect employees and the public, at no cost to the employees, except safety footwear which shall be provided as follows. Outside employees shall wear safety footwear that has been approved by their Crew Leader. The safety footwear shall be that manufactured for the purpose and be of good quality and proper style. The Employer shall pay each employee an allowance of up to per contract year with the exception of Certified Power Line Persons, System Response Representatives and Certified Crew Leader, Line, who shall be allowed up to per contract year for the purchase, replacement or repair of safety footwear. An employee is allowed to carry over any unused portion of the allowance into the following contract year. Carry over shall not exceed that contract year's entitlement. The Employer shall pay the full cost for the purchase, replacement or repair of safety footwear that an employee must have made-to-measure.
